We are excited to announce that the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) has joined the growing list of agencies implementing SmartCOP’s advanced public safety solutions. At the end of June, SCDNR successfully implemented SmartCAD, our industry-leading, highly flexible Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
SmartCAD is designed with adaptability in mind, making it an ideal solution for conservation agencies like SCDNR.
Our system features embedded ESRI mapping technology, which allows for the integration of essential geographic layers specific to conservation. With state parks, trails, waterways, and other critical conservation-related map layers loaded into the system, officers across South Carolina can access these tools even while offline. This ensures that enforcement and conservation efforts can continue seamlessly, regardless of location.
SmartCAD ensures that all public safety and emergency calls are thoroughly tracked and effectively managed. Whether handling incidents in remote areas or managing day-to-day conservation enforcement, SmartCAD provides the tools necessary for efficient dispatching and incident management. The platform helps officers coordinate more effectively, improving response times and ensuring that both officers and the public remain safe.
