PENSACOLA, FL — SmartCOP, Inc., a public safety software market leader, has added the University of South Florida (USF) Police Department – St. Petersburg Campus to our growing list of colleges and universities with award. utilizing our fully integrated public safety software solution including Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management System, and Mobile Computer Terminals.
The USF St. Petersburg campus is a branch campus of the University of South Florida, and is home to more than 2,200 students and 1,300 faculty members.
The implementation of SmartCAD and SmartRMS provides the USF St. Petersburg with the necessary tools to keep the campus safe while reducing paperwork for officers and enabling them to become more efficient. Choosing SmartCOP also enables the College to meet the necessary CLERY reporting requirements unique to colleges and universities.
Along with extending SmartCOP’s expertise in higher education, the contract also expands SmartCOP’s growing Florida footprint. SmartCOP is currently the software vendor of choice for more than 25 counties, 13 state agencies, and 50 municipalities throughout the state.
