PENSACOLA, FL — SmartCOP, Inc. was recently re-awarded a contract with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) within the state of Georgia (GADPS).
The Georgia Department of Public Safety originally adopted SmartCOP systems in 2009 for the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). It has since been renewed and expanded to include additional statewide agencies, notably Motor Carrier Enforcement, Capitol Police, and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
“SmartCOP provided the state of Georgia with its very first electronic public safety solution. All previous reporting was paper based. With the implementation of our system, we provided the state with its first electronic Traffic Crash Report, Traffic Citation, Incident Report, and many other reports,” stated Shane Lincke, SmartCOP Founder and Senior Vice President of Research and Development.
SmartCOP is thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve the public safety needs of the state of Georgia through our work with the GADPS!
