PENSACOLA, FL — SmartCOP, Inc., a public safety software market leader, has been awarded a contract with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife. SmartCOP will provide an enterprise wide conservation law enforcement records management system tailored to the specific needs of wildlife, game and fish officers. The award follows a competitive bid process in which officials selected SmartCOP over several other well-known national companies.
“We are proud of our industry-leading conservation law enforcement system, said SmartCOP Vice President, Steven Williams. “Our products and expertise working with conservation law enforcement once again out-performed our national competition and exceeded the rigorous requirements of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.” Key requirements were a proven technology base, ease of use, reports and processes specific to conservation, mechanisms to increase the timeliness, accuracy and quality of data collected, and features to support the analysis of collected data.
The announcement represents another step forward for SmartCOP, which has long-standing presence with other satisfied State Conservation clients including the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency. Additionally, SmartCOP systems are in place with numerous State agencies, municipal Police Departments and Sheriff’s Offices.
“The feedback we receive from clients and the results we produce are very gratifying,” said Michael Snyder, Director of Sales and Marketing. “Our products help reduce crime, increase public safety and boost the efficiency of conservation law enforcement around the nation.”
